This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with all cardboard you need to make your Medium sliding lid fabric box, as shown in the pictures. The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are precut in the right sizes you need for this project. The finished box will be 8.5” x 3 7/8” x 3”. No worries about cutting paper, is all there ready for you to use! Fabric and other contents showed in pictures are not included. Small metal knob (random color) is included. We also sell packages of knobs in different sizes in our shop in case you prefer.
For making the box you will need this kit, two coordinating fabrics (1 fat quarter each), Glue All (Elmer's), rotary cutter, cutting mat, a small paint roller with tray, paint brush, masking tape and scissors. Corner miter corner tool is recommended and our 7 in 1 functional tool will be very helpful as well. Check our tools section of the shop.
If adding the metal know with screws, you will also need one sort of hole punch, to make the hole for the screw. You can add other kind of knobs, handles, embellishments, as you wish.
